Heritage Rail Trail Information boards designed by volunteers from the Yorkshire Coast Community Rail Partnership have been installed on each station on the line. These boards show a map of the line and a timeline of its history together with some old photographs.
A Heritage Trail leaflet has also been written by the volunteers and this can be picked up at a station or downloaded here.

Heritage Rail Tours
The Yorkshire Coast Community Rail Partnership and Northern Rail have started running regular heritage rail tours on the Yorkshire Coast line.
These tours have a guide on the train explaining the history and points of interest on the journey. At Beverley, Bridlington and Hull or Scarborough the guide will take the tour on a short walk to the town centre and back explaining points of interest.
The walks should be suitable for wheelchair users but it is advisable to contact the YCCRP nearer the time and check with them.
Rail tours have been held this year on 31st July from Hull, 21st August from Scarborough and 23rd October from Hull.
Further tours are planned in 2012 for 15th April, 10th June, 4th August, 9th September and 21st October. The price will be £9 per adult and £4.50 per child
· For further details and to book please call the YCCRP on 07428 557624
